Sat 1 May 2010 (12-2 pm) - Melbourne International Jazz Festival @ National Gallery of Victoria
In their first trio collaboration, David Chesworth and Clocked Out Duo combine modified field recordings, found objects, keyboards and percussion. Here they gradually strip back textures and rhythms of everyday life to reveal obscure presences lurking within. Live mixing, intricate cross-rhythms, and ritualistic improvisations uncloak the spirit world of the Other.
